Atlas ID
Verify ID cards, passports and residence permits: MRZ reading, consistency and authenticity checks.
Access by invitation: no account yet? Ask for your sandbox workspace.
What it checks
The document, read and checked field by field.
Atlas ID recognises the type of document, extracts its fields in both scripts and checks that they agree with each other.
-
Accepted documents
ID cards, passports, residence permits and driving licences. You choose the types and countries you accept.
-
Latin and Arabic fields
Names, dates and numbers extracted as printed, in Latin script as well as in Arabic.
-
MRZ checked
Check digits verified, then the MRZ is cross-checked with the printed fields: a mismatch sends the file to review.
-
Validity
Expiry date checked, and the document's type or country compared with what the customer declared.
-
Image authenticity
Photocopies, replayed screens, glare, blur and low resolution are detected and flagged.
How it works
From photo to result, with no typing.
- 1 The customer picks their document Country, type and version of the document, among those you accept.
- 2 They photograph it Front and back from their phone, or a file upload.
- 3 Atlas reads and checks Fields extracted, MRZ cross-checked, validity and image authenticity verified.
- 4 You receive the result Status, score and reasons for each check, through the API and a signed webhook.
